An Open Network for Digital Innovation
For 10 years 6 Minutes of Serendipity has detected, coached and highlighted projects that use information and communications technologies to enable innovative services, behaviours and practices.
« 6 Minutes of Serendipity » [6MoS] is a complete detection, networking and coaching process for early-stage projects with innovative use cases. The process ends with an event during which each innovator has exactly 6 minutes to present their project.
6MoS’s network and events bring together digital industry pioneers, regional economic developers, social economy entrepreneurs, artists, investors, users, and innovators.
« 6 Minutes of Serendipity » was born in France ("Carrefour des Possibles"). It now has European and African editions, as well as Corporate editions with large firms such as Renault, Suez Environment, Bouygues,…
Since 2002, more than 1000 projects have been presented at the Carrefour des Possibles and 6 Minutes of Serendipity.
- 2009, December 22d, first african meeting was held in Bamako, to plan west african network.
- 2010, March 2d, first european edition was held at the 14th forum Innovact : 10 projects from Belgium, England, France, Hungria, Italy, Luxemburg and Spain.
We are interested in building partnerships towards a common International open innovation network. We hope to co-organize 6MoS with partners in other countries or regions, as well as with industry organizations or large companies with an open innovation strategy.
